How to Change the Background Color of Photo

Do you want to give a new look to your photos or images within a few minutes by using Adobe Photoshop? Then no worry, as in this blog I am going to discuss with you, the very simple way to change the background color.
By using simple Quick Selection Tool.
As all of us love to have different colors in our photos. This is going to be a very fast and easy technique for all and it is a bonus for beginners.
Let’s start it step by step.
Step 1. Photo selection
Select photos whose background color you want to change. Just drag that in Photoshop. Below is this photo whose background color I will change.

Step 2. Model selection
The first step is making the model selection to make him separate from the background. Press Ctrl+0 to fit the photo on the screen. Just go to the toolbar and select the selection tool to make the selection.
But in Adobe Photoshop CC 2019, here is the option of Select Subject just click on this. And the subject will be select. Which is a button uses artificial intelligence called Adobe Sensei to analyze the image.

When you will click on select a subject, the process of selecting the subject will start.

Photoshop will ask you to discard the current selection. Just hit ok.

Step 3. Layer panel
Open the layer panel by pressing Ctrl+7. By default, the Layer panel is located to the right of your image. But in case if you did not get it just go to the Window>Layers from the drop down menu.

The next step is to Double click on the locked Background layer and renames it as Layer Zero. And hit OK.

Now Duplicate Layer Zero by pressing key Ctrl+J. Or simply go to the Panel Menu (4 tiny horizontal lines at the right top side of the layer panel) click it and select Duplicate Layer. A new dialogue box will open. Just rename the layer as Model Photo and hit ok.

Then go to the adjustment layer which is at the bottom. From right to left at number 4 like a mini circle. Click on that then go to the solid color. And select the color of your choice.

Select color from the color picker and hit ok.

Here we have the problem. As color is inside the photo instead outside. We will just fix this by clicking on the Layer Mask icon and then go to properties and select inverts.

Here is the final result.
If you want to change the color just click on the solid color thumbnail and choose whatever background-color you want to have in the photo.
